"Welcome!"

The Capital Region Clown Arts Festival

Celebrate by Participating!

The purpose of the Festival is to support your continuing clown arts education needs and desires.

Previous editions of the Festival have proven to be a fun and inspiring local source of continuing clown arts education.

The 2008 winter session kicked off on Friday evening, January 4, 2008 and concluded on April 4 with six participants earning the title and honor "Master of Smiles"!  Up Next was MAKE ME LAUGH CLOWN!  on August 2 at Colonie Center in Albany.  Thousands watched as snickers, giggles and belly laughs were the order of the day.  The "Fantastical Mr. Fuddi" was declared the funniest clown by the mall patrons who participated with us!

You don't need to be a clown to participate in the Capital Region Clown Arts Festival! However, having an active interest in the clown arts will help. There are no registration fees. There may be some materials fees. Keep an eye out for details on our 2009 offering.  For more information and updates, visit www.clownartsfestival.org or call 518-489-2680.

Youngsters and Junior Joeys are always welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult during all sessions.

The Capital Region Clown Arts Festival supports Red Nose Response!  It's a production of Fuddi-Duddy The Clown and the Fuddi-Duddy Institute For The Advancement of Smirks, Smiles, Giggles and Belly Laughs, COAI Alley #369!!
